Time Off

Time Off Benefits

Time off isn’t just a perk—it’s essential for recharging, handling life’s responsibilities, and being your best self.

Personal Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave ensure employees can rest, recharge, or recover when needed. Bereavement Leave offers space to grieve and heal for our loved ones and family members.

Civic duties are covered, too, with jury duty and witness leave, plus time to make your voice count with voting leave.

Growing families can focus on what matters most with Paid Parental Leave, and everyone gets to enjoy well-deserved breaks with paid holidays.

Because work-life balance isn’t just a goal. It's a priority.

Time Off Policies

We offer a variety of time-off benefits for our employees, including:

  • Personal Time Off (PTO) is accrued at a rate based on your tenure with the company

    • Date of hire to third anniversary: 15 days/year

    • After the third anniversary: 20 days/year

  • Paid Sick Leave

    • 40 hours/year at the start of each calendar year

  • Bereavement

    • 5 days/year (3 paid, 2 unpaid)

  • Jury duty

  • Witness leave

  • Time off to vote

    • 2 hours per election

  • Paid parental leave

Employees may request unpaid leave for a variety of personal reasons through a formal Leave of Absence. While the time away is not paid, it allows individuals to step away from work while maintaining their employment status.

For additional time off details and information on how the PTO request process works, please review the Paid Time Off Policies in Bamboo HR.

Paid Company Holidays

At Everbright, paid holidays aren’t just a perk but a strategic pause button. We believe in work-life balance, so when the calendar calls for a little celebration (or hibernation), we answer with out-of-office replies and guilt-free relaxation.
